EX-HMAS Adelaide Moorings & Dive Permits

Scuttled in April 2011, the Ex-HMAS Adelaide is the largest and most accessible former warship off the east coast of Australia.  Located just a 5 minute boat ride from the access point at Terrigal, recreational divers will be in the water exploring the seven ship decks and the growth of the artificial reef in no time.

The reserve is generally open every day and provides six boat mooring sites.

  • 15 metres wide
  • 4 decks below main deck, 3 decks above
  • Min depth 10 metres
  • Max depth 37 metres

Ex-HMAS Adelaide Reserve Moorings & Permits

  • All vessls entering the Ex-HMAS Adelaide Reserve are required to hold a valid mooring.
  • All people entering the Ex-HMAS Adelaide Reserve are require to hold a valid permit.
